Bub's First Words II and her first day with So Many Dogs!!

This little one has really grown so much and it is official! Her first official word is "Goliath!" I was playing with my Nintendo DS when I heard her distinct correct pronunciation of the name of her most favorite animal in the world. It was no way a coincidence. She said it the first time and gave all of us a pleasant surprise and we coaxed her to say it again pointing to the handsome husky looking confused at her. And she repeated it, slowly and loudly as if to let us confirm that her pronunciation is right. "Go-Lia-th" right down to the "th" sound at the end. Then fizzy tried to coax her to say "Da-Da" and she whispered under her breath "Da-da". Such a sweet munchkin she is, isn't she? But it did not last. She has refused to say either word ever since.

Yesterday, we had a nice family day with my mum, sister, aunt and the maids. We had lunch at Paragon and went on to shopping at the kids shops. We bought a bath toy for her to play with the next time we have another pool party and one to entertain her during mass on Sundays. It's called "Milly and Max at the Beach". It's a little bag that opens up with 2 tiny teddy's and some beach towel with a sun sewn on one side. We also let Bub have a go at the famous Carousel. I hope that history will not repeat it self and we will fall into the same $2 trap that Saffy's parents have.

After shopping, we drove along Lor Halus to look at the puppies up for sale. The Low's told us that Ericcson Pet Farm has a really nice-looking Alaskan Malamute and so we went to Kay Poh. He was indeed majestic but has the same temperament as Goliath. He was yelping a lot and Bub was very happy to hear him yelp. She could not be bothered by all the other cutesy tiny puppies like the poms and the shih tzus. She loves the Malamute. Maybe because of the resemblance to Goliath.

We went to the PetMovers Compound and went to the free roam area. Bub was so happy to see so many dogs. Some were very curious and want to sniff her. In return she would also try to touch them. She really enjoyed herself and was clapping a lot. Even when we decided to call it a day, she was in such a good mood that she was singing for the most part of the drive home.

As the programme was quite impromptu, we sis not bring any camera so we are sorry that we do not have any photos to show the event. So we decided to share this long story for all our family and friends.
